A simple collaboration tool for your small business

This page is for small businesses of 2 to 50 people: an agency, a professional practice, an engineering consultancy, a building contractor, a shop with a team, a startup. In short, a team that works together every day and has no IT department, nor any wish to have one.

Synintra brings together in a single tool what most of these teams scatter around: conversations, tasks, meeting notes and client tracking. And when a project involves a client or a supplier, you open that project to them, and only that one.

The problem: five tools for a team of six

In a small business, nobody chose how things are organised. It just piled up.

Decisions are made in a WhatsApp group where Tuesday's site visit sits next to a photo of someone's dog. Conversations with clients live in each person's inbox: when the person handling a file is away, the file stops. Tasks are on sticky notes, in a notebook or in the owner's head. Prospect tracking is a spreadsheet two people update, each in their own way. Meeting notes, when they exist, sleep in a shared folder nobody opens.

Each tool, on its own, does the job. Together, they force you to copy everything over: a message becomes a task by hand, a meeting decision becomes an email by hand, a client call becomes a spreadsheet row by hand. And nothing is connected to anything.

What Synintra brings together

Threads, @mentions, reactions, files and links found in one click, notifications set channel by channel. Video calls start in one click, with a Jitsi room or your own Google Meet, Teams or Zoom link.

My to-dos. A single list, visible only to you, for everything you have to deal with: messages to follow up, checkboxes in notes that concern you and your own tasks, with a reminder on the day you choose.

Shared notes. Meeting notes, procedures, checklists: written by several people at the same time. Your private notes stay yours until you choose to share them with the team.

Your clients and prospects. Your contacts imported from a spreadsheet or an address book, your own stages, a list or board view, a call queue that puts who to call back at the top, and every exchange logged on the record with its author. No separate tool.

Your partners. The companies you work with, gathered in one place, and channels you share with them.

Everything is connected

That is the difference with a stack of tools, even good ones. Because everything lives in the same place, nothing needs copying over:

• a message or a whole thread becomes a note in one click;
• a message to deal with joins your to-do list, and takes you back to the message;
• a box ticked in a note is also ticked in the list of the person concerned;
• a note can be shared in a channel, readable by all its members;
• a client or a supplier joins the channel for their project, and only that one.

Work with your clients without making them pay for a subscription

A small business rarely works alone: an accountant, an agency, a subcontractor, a client who wants to follow their file. In most tools, inviting them is expensive or complicates everything.

With Synintra, you send a partner invitation. Your partner creates their space for free, in a few clicks, then you open the project channel to them. What Synintra does not do

We would rather say it straight away.

Synintra does not replace your email: you keep Gmail, Outlook or your email provider. Nor is it an office suite: your spreadsheets and documents are still created in your usual software, then shared in the channels. We do no accounting, no invoicing and no payroll.

If your team already lives in Microsoft 365 and genuinely uses Teams, or if you need to connect dozens of apps to your messaging, other tools will serve you better. We present them honestly in our comparison of collaboration tools for small businesses.

What it costs

One price per company, never per user: you do not have to count heads every time someone joins. Inviting your clients and partners is free, and they do not count towards your team.

Channels, notes, to-dos and client tracking are currently free during early access. They will later move into a paid plan, and you will be notified at least thirty days in advance, with no payment possible without your consent.

You enter your email address, you name your company, and its space is created. You invite your colleagues: they land in the general channel. You then open a channel per project or per client, at your own pace. No training is needed, and nothing to install: Synintra runs in the browser, on a computer as well as on a phone.

Your data stays yours, in Europe

Your channels and notes belong to your company: neither Synintra nor the other companies on the platform can read them. The data is hosted in Europe, in line with GDPR, and is never resold.
