Cookie policy
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you browse the Platform. It is used in particular to recognise you, secure your session and remember your preferences. This policy also covers similar technologies (local storage, trackers).
2. Cookies used
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (always active)
Essential to the operation of the Platform, they do not require consent.
| Cookie / tracker | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication token (session) | Maintaining the secure connection | Session duration |
synintra-cookie-consent |
Storing your cookie choice (shared across synintra.com subdomains) | 12 months |
| Preferences (language, time zone, display) | Interface personalisation | Variable |
2.2 Audience measurement cookies (subject to consent)
These cookies are not activated to date. Once implemented, they will help understand how the Platform is used for statistical purposes. They will only be placed after your consent has been collected via the banner.
2.3 Marketing cookies (subject to consent)
These cookies are not activated to date. Where applicable, they would only be placed with your prior consent.
2.4 Address search - Google Maps (subject to consent)
On some forms (creating or editing an establishment or a company), an address-search feature relies on Google Maps / Places (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). It is loaded only after your consent via the banner. Once enabled, it may place Google cookies and transmit data (including your IP address and the searched address) to Google, including in the United States. Without consent, the search stays disabled and the address fields remain fillable manually.
3. Managing your consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise the placing of non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the "Manage cookies" option in the application menu (which opens the "Cookie settings" panel) or by reconfiguring your browser.
Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent access to the Platform. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may, however, degrade the operation of the service.
Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which your consent will be requested again.
4. Third-party cookies
Certain features rely on providers (payment via Stripe, emails via Brevo, address search via Google Maps/Places subject to consent) that may place their own trackers, subject to their respective policies.
5. Changes
This policy may be updated to follow the evolution of the Platform and of the regulations. The version in force is always accessible on the Platform.
